Roy Horobin Calls on North East Lincs Council to Extend Free School Meals Scheme Over Half -Term and Christmas

North East Lincolnshire Liberal Democrats are calling for the North East Lincolnshire Council to extend free school meals, for the October half term, and Christmas so that no child living in poverty misses out - even during holidays and lockdown.

No child should go to bed hungry in North East Lincolnshire.

No child should go to bed hungry in North East Lincolnshire - that's why I want to see this scheme continue through the Christmas Holiday.

As Marcus Rashford has shown with determination you can make a difference and feed children who will go hungry.

North East Lincolnshire Council should show the same determination and humanity and implement a local scheme for Christmas.

If the Conservative Government won't ensure that our children won't go hungry over Christmas then it's time for the Council to do the right thing and extend the local holiday free school meal scheme over Christmas.

Please join our campaign by signing our petition

North East Lincolnshire Council need to do the right and decent thing. Our hungry children need you. Don't let them down.

With best wishes,

Roy Horobin
